Destination: Relaxation is sure to become your home away from home in the Smokies. Located in Homestead West, this luxurious mountain cabin offers the perfect location for couples to escape for the week or weekend. After a day of hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, enjoy a relaxing evening at this romantic Smoky Mountain Honeymoon Cabin.

As you enter the cabin, the warmth of southern hospitality surrounds you. The fully equipped kitchen, living-room and dining area offer a couple ample space in a cozy mountaintop setting. Enjoying one another's company is easy to do when you stay at Destination: Relaxation. Plan a romantic dinner at home: Grilled steak and shrimp, loaded baked potatoes, salad and a yummy dessert complete the quintessential romantic meal. No chatter from nearby tables, no feeling of being rushed to finish your meal, just great food, delicious wine, and golden conversation - the epitome of a perfect evening in the Smokies.

The finely appointed Master Bedroom is located at the end of the hallway on the main level. The King size bed will have you feeling like royalty due to its superiority. The master bath offers an indoor jetted tub as well as a stall shower. After a day of hiking in the Smokies, come home and enjoy a fantastic soak in the indoor whirlpool tub. A glass of wine and a nice bubble bath are the perfect way to end the day. Attention early morning risers: This main level bedroom offers direct access to the covered back porch area where you can enjoy sunrise each morning of your Smoky Mountain Vacations. Imagine waking up and enjoying a brimming hot cup of coffee while the world is still quiet and listening to the sounds of nature as you watch the sun come up over the horizon. The perfect beginning for each day of your Great Smoky Mountains vacation in Wears Valley.

Upstairs in the open loft area, enjoy a game of pool or challenge your loved one to a game of Air Hockey. Connect to the cabin's Wi-Fi and make plans for the week's activities. Perhaps a road adventure awaits you and your loved one in Cades Cove or even an outing to rafting in the Smokies. Cades Cove is an 11 mile loop road in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and offers a glimpse into the past when pioneers lived on the land and neighbors were connected by church socials or other designated gatherings. Cades Cove Loop Road can be accessed by taking Wears Valley Road into Townsend and follow the signs into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Adjacent to the game room in the loft area, there are 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. These 2 bedrooms are locked off during your stay. You may not use them.

The outdoor hot tub is located on the screened in, covered back porch. Enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains anytime: rain, snow, sleet, or sunshine.

Romance is in the air: Gather round the outdoor fire pit and hold hands and indulge in enjoyable recollection of the day's fun that you shared in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Laugh: This is what happy memory making is all about. Disconnect from the world and enjoy the moment and what is truly important: Your Loved One.

***You must provide your own firewood for the fire pit. You may purchase firewood at the gas station or at Knockout Firewood located at 3264 Wears Valley Road. Please, do not bring wood from home. You could introduce a new species into the environment here and it could wreak havoc on our forest area. Please wait and purchase your wood locally.

Destination Relaxation is approximately 10 miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park via Line Springs Road. This is a great location for Wears Valley Cabin Rentals and for families who love the outdoors. Metcalf Bottoms is a fantastic picnic spot in the national park and features tables, grills, and the cool waters of the Little River. Take Line Springs Road for approximately 2 miles and there you will find Metcalf Bottoms - the place to picnic and wade and play in the river.

There are hundreds of hiking trails to enjoy in The Greats Smoky Mountains National Park. Laurel Falls is an excellent choice for families with strollers because the trail is paved and access is easy when pushing a stroller. Searching for a bit of a challenge? Alum Cave Bluff is a beautiful trail choice or jaunt on up to Mt Leconte for the day. Take plenty of water and healthy snacks. Another must place to visit while staying in Wears Valley Smoky Mountains is The Sugarlands Visitor Center which is located at the junction of State Hwy 73 and Hwy 441. The Sugarlands Visitor Center is a wonderful place to stop and discover more about the National Park. There are actually 3 hikes that you can enjoy from The Sugarlands Visitor Center: Cataract Falls, Gatlinburg Trail, and Fighting Creek Nature Trail. The Sugarlands Visitor Center is a must stop because this is where you and your family can meet Great Smoky Mountains Park Rangers and learn about the Smoky Mountains before venturing out into the area. The Sugarlands Visitor Center: A resource of knowledge abounds here and is a must especially if you are a first time visitor to the area.

In terms of local dining, Elvira’s Café is a local favorite, as well as Hillbilly’s Restaurant. Good Vibes On The River in Townsend is also an up and coming Super Star favorite. One of our favorite places is on the corner of Wears Valley Road and Line Springs Road and the name is fitting: The Heavenly Roast. Get your cup of Joe on the go and enjoy the flavors of your beverage. We believe that coffee just tastes better in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The main attractions of Pigeon Forge (Dollywood, Dollywood Splash Country, Pigeon Forge Snow, Dolly Parton’s Stampede, etc.) are approximately 15 miles from Destination Relaxation.

***Pool and fishing pond access is located approximately 10 minutes from the cabin at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off of Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. You will need to bring your own fishing poles for the catch & release pond. There is no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is included in your rental.

Emotional Support Animals: Per official ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidance, emotional support animals (ESAs) are not covered by federal public accommodations laws. We do not accept emotional support animals in non-pet friendly cabins since these animals are not protected by any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations regarding short term lodging in Tennessee. Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $75.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
