As you enter the cabin, an open floor plan welcomes you home to the Smokies. With floor to ceiling windows, the beauty of nature surrounds you. The cabin exudes a feeling of total relaxation. In the summer months, a forest-like setting invites you to cozy up on the sofa and enjoy an afternoon nap.

The main level offers an open kitchen, living-room, and dining room area great for gathering the family. Just off the main level is the Master Bedroom which features a King size bed, and full bathroom.

Upstairs in the loft area, this area is not available to you during your stay. The cabin is only being rented as a 2-bedroom 2.5 bathroom. Your rental does not include this open loft area or the bathroom in the loft area. Any use of the loft area will result in additional charges to you.

The downstairs offers a full bath, pool table, and Queen Size Bedroom.

The Location. Located approximately 8 minutes from the entrance to the Foothills Parkway, enjoying the scenery of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has never been easier. The Foothills Parkway follows a scenic path through the National Park and the roads are wide and paved. There are pull offs along the way to stop and capture the beauty of the mountains that surround the Foothills Parkway. The Foothills Parkway is known as the Gateway To The Smokies for a very valid reason. We do not believe you will be disappointed to visit the Wears Valley, TN area anytime of the year - especially during the fall when the leaves are at their brightest and the sun seems to shine it brilliant beams down to the valley below. Many folks refer to the area as God's Country. Once you visit here, we think you will feel the same too.

Not far from the entrance to The Foothills Parkway, you will find Line Springs Road. Line Springs Road offers entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from the Wears Valley side. If you are visiting the area, be sure to check out Metcalf Bottoms. There are picnic tables positioned along the river and this spot makes for a terrific afternoon picnic with the family. There are park grills available if you choose to cook out or make it easy and bring along some fried chicken from Publix or Kroger and don't forget the sides. Enjoy relaxing in the Smoky Mountains.

***Seasonal Pool and fishing pond access located at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off of Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. Located approximately 8 minutes from the cabin.
There is no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is Included in your rental.
Fishing pole rentals available onsite in season.

****Located in Dogwood Farms, Peek A View is located near Breathless View and Bear Retreat. If you want to travel with family but want separate quarters, we have the perfect solution. Dogwood Farms Cabins: Breathless View sleeps 10, Peek A View sleeps 4, and Bear Retreat sleeps 8.

Please do not bring blow up mattresses, sleeping bags or cots. Violation of this policy will result in your immediate removal from the property with no $$ refunded. If you need accommodations for more than 4, you need to rent a different cabin.

Dogs Must Be Crated At All Times If Being Left Alone In The Cabin.

While we do our best to always be on time (cabin ready by 5 PM EST), during Peak times, your patience and understanding in adjusting the check-in time is appreciated. We do not offer compensation if we have to contact you regarding a later check-in time.

Emotional Support Animals: Per official ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidance, emotional support animals (ESAs) are not covered by federal public accommodations laws. We do not accept emotional support animals in non-pet friendly cabins since these animals are not protected by any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations regarding short term lodging in Tennessee. Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $100.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
