If you love breathtaking views, hiking and waterfalls, Abrams Falls is a must see! The trail is approximately 5 miles total and is moderate difficulty.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and pack some snacks. Although this hike is moderate difficulty, the trail has rocks and unleveled ground. The hike should take you approximately 3 hours, so make sure you have snacks and drinks! You should pack your camera if you have room. Abrams falls may only be 20 feet tall, but it does offer one of the most picturesque scenes in the Smoky Mountains. You’ll be glad you visited!
There are many animals indigenous to the Great Smoky Mountains. Many of which can be seen along the trails in Cades Cove. If you like to see black bears, deer, elk and more, you’re in luck! Many people travel to places like Cades Cove to see the wildlife in their natural habitat. Of course, do proceed with caution, especially with black bears.

There are three must see churches to visit when you’re exploring Cades Cove. Each church dates back to the 1800’s and early 1900’s and has lots of history. The Primitive Baptist Church, the Cades Cove Missionary Church and the Cades Cove Methodist Church are must see spots.
